Reward Approval

Approve or deny reward requests from your children.

Children can earn points and redeem them for rewards. Some rewards require parental approval before they're granted.

How Points Are Earned

Types of Rewards

  1. Virtual Rewards (Auto-approved)

    • New avatars
    • Theme colors
    • Profile frames
    • Virtual companions
  2. Real Rewards (Requires approval)

    • Extra screen time
    • Physical prizes
    • Special privileges

Reviewing Reward Requests

From Dashboard

  1. Look for the Pending Rewards notification
  2. Click to view the request
  3. See the child and reward details

From Notifications

  1. Go to Notifications
  2. Find reward request alerts
  3. Click to review

Approval Process

Reviewing a Request

  1. See which child requested
  2. View the reward details:
    • Reward name
    • Point cost
    • Description
  3. Check the child's point balance

Approving a Reward

  1. Click Approve
  2. Add an optional message
  3. The reward is granted immediately
  4. Points are deducted from balance

Denying a Reward

  1. Click Deny
  2. Select a reason or add custom message
  3. Points are NOT deducted
  4. Child receives notification
Use denial as a teaching moment. Explain why and suggest alternatives.

Setting Approval Rules

Auto-Approve Thresholds

Set point limits for auto-approval:

  • Under 100 points: Auto-approve
  • 100-500 points: Review recommended
  • Over 500 points: Always require approval

Category-Based Rules

  • Virtual items: Auto-approve
  • Screen time: Always review
  • Physical rewards: Always review
