How to join teacher-created classrooms.
Join your teacher's classroom to receive assignments and participate in class activities!
Getting a Classroom Code
Your teacher will give you a code:
- Written on the board
- On a worksheet
- By email
- From your parent
The code looks like: ABC123 or TIGER-42
Joining a Classroom
- Tap Classrooms in the menu
- Tap Join Classroom
- Enter the code
- Tap Join
Welcome to class! You'll now see assignments from your teacher.
What You'll Find
In your classroom:
- Assignments - Books to read
- Leaderboard - Class rankings
- Classmates - Other students
- Announcements - Teacher messages
Classroom Leaderboard
Compete (friendly!) with classmates:
- Who has the most points?
- Longest streak?
- Most books read?
Reading just a little each day can help you climb the leaderboard!
Getting Assignments
When teacher assigns a book:
- You'll get a notification 🔔
- Book appears in your list
- Check the due date
- Start reading!
Completing Assignments
- Read the assigned book
- Take the quiz (if required)
- Assignment marked complete ✅
- Teacher sees your progress
Leaving a Classroom
If you need to leave:
- Go to the classroom
- Tap Settings ⚙️
- Tap Leave Classroom
- Confirm
You'll lose access to class assignments and leaderboard.
Multiple Classrooms
You can join multiple classrooms:
- Different subjects
- Different teachers
- Reading clubs
- After-school programs
